The 9th Annual Atlanta BAR-B-Q Festival is a 2-day celebration of America's biggest backyard pastime showcasing the South's best BBQ cooking, great food and beverages plus live music and an interactive children's area. Atlanta's top BBQ restaurants will serve up their specialties while more than 30 professional competitive BAR-B-Q teams from across the region will compete in our Cook Off event for cash prizes, trophies and of course bragging rights.

Hogs and Hops Session

Taste of the Teams

With this ticket you get unlimited BBQ from selected BBQ Competition teams. 5-6 teams have cooked up some competition samples for patrons to try. Tickets are limited.

A portion of the proceeds from this year's event will go to The GBM Foundation . The GBM Foundation was established in January 2017 by Carly Magness Bonsignore, Ashley's daughter, and Ric Magness, Ashley's husband, following the death of Gail (Ashley) Boyter Magness. After a 22 month battle, Ashley passed away from a Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM) in March of 2016. This insidious disease gave Carly and Ric insight into the current standard of care available for treatment and survival improvement. It also showed the need for additional research for promising and alternative treatments, in addition to the conventional therapies. This foundation seeks to bring public awareness to the severity of GBM brain tumors and to raise the funds needed to sponsor the most promising research to ultimately find a cure.
